Wedding Fun...Girls Day...

Girls Day~ April 7th, 2011

Let the wedding fun begin with an afternoon at Lavender Fields Day Spa. Kayleigh had her first official mani and pedi. When we first got there she was a bit quiet. Within a few minutes she perked up and got right into it. (a side note, it took some convincing for Kayleigh to do this and miss school. She was very concerned about missing schoolwork. At first when she found out it was during school she said I could do her nails. But then she decided she was only going to be in a wedding once and she doesn't miss school so she could do it. Added bonus...hanging out with soon-to-be Aunt Erin)

Her choice of nail color...pink of course.

The name...Flower to Flower...for obvious reasons...she is the flower girl.

Dress Like a Teacher Day

Last Friday, Kayleigh got to dress like a teacher. Luckily when we stopped to get hairclips for the wedding, we found glasses for her to wear. She got out a name badge and found a longer skirt. She did look like a stylin' teacher. Obviously she is a high energy teacher who isn't afraid to break out a dance move.

The kids love playing in the puddle in our driveway. The other day Kayleigh asked if they could put on their bathing suits to play in it. I had to break it to her that it wasn't warm enough yet. Boy you should have seen the look she gave me.

Ice Skating Fun

We finally had a chance to use the Ice Rink Santa left. We figured with the flat yard, the rink would be perfect for some winter fun. Not so much with all this snow. After much begging, Jim set it up on top of the snow. We got a few laps around before it started to crack.

Then the kids thought it would be more fun to skate on the snow!
