Jack is 4!

Where did the time go? I can't believe that Jack Thomas is 4 years old. And for the first time since the day he was born there was no snow or ice on his birthday. Jack's birthday celebration went for quite a bit of time. We started a week early with cupcakes at Little Blessings, then his actual birthday which coincided with his Christmas Performance at school. Jack was great. He waited until Kayleigh came home from dance to have his ice cream cake. Then we celebrated it in our new house so GG could be there. Finally, he had some more cupcakes at his new preschool. No wonder the kid doesn't know when his actual birthday is!

Happy Birthday sweetie!

Funny Kids
Jack started it and Kayleigh followed.

snow, snow and more snow

It has been a very snowy January. The kids love playing in it. It is a bit hard to walk through and they found that crawling on top is much easier. We are waiting for it to melt a bit so we can finally make a snowman. With all this snow we should be able to make a huge one!
Where is Jack?
I was so afraid that we would lose him in all this snow. When he goes behind a pile I couldn't see him!
They have the most fun staning on the snow piles since they can actually walk on them!

Welcome to our Home in Salem

After years of searching we finally found a new home close to work for Jim. The funny thing is we put an offer on this house a couple of years ago. Kayleigh finally got her pink room. We are waiting for Jim to add some stripes. Jack created the Batcave. We are still adding paint but things are coming along. The only thing that Kayleigh didn't get was a hill to go sledding. Maybe we'll build her one. Next on Jack's list...a puppy to grow up with.

Finally, her pink room. It now has curtains, a bedskirt and new comforter.
Oh and a pink lampshade.

He has one dark blue wall and the door to the crawlspace is dark blue.
