A Weekend Trip to Boston

Since Jack was such a trooper at the American Girl Store, we treated him and Kayleigh to the Children's Museum. Everyone really enjoyed it. Jack loved climbing the huge cargo net to the ceiling, Kayleigh loved playing school in Arthur's Classroom and we couldn't get Jim out of the Bubble Room. We will definitely have to go back.

Vermont, July 2009

The last weekend in July we headed north to Pico/Killington Vermont to spend some time with Jim's family (mom, dad, and brothers). We had a great time taking a hike to Quechee Gorge where Kay and Jack explored the water. Kayleigh almost lost her pink sneaker. Luckily we caught it before it rushed downstream. Jack loved playing in the water and Kay loved walking across the rocks. We then had lunch at Long Trail and enjoyed some samples. The afternoon was some fun at the town pool. On Sunday, we headed for to Pico for some racing down the alpine slides and to let Kay bounce. Kayleigh loved going down the mountain fast and she wanted to go even faster. Jack enjoyed the ski lift ride up and checked out everything. It's hard to tell if he enjoyed the alpine slide...he's always so serious. He rarely lets you know what he is really thinking.
