Wolcott Sprinkler Park August 2009

The kids and I had a blast at Wolcott Sprinkler Park in West Hartford. Jack loved it this year and ran all around. It was nice to see them playing together. It was the first time that we went without meeting any friends! We started on the playground to get nice and toasty then we headed over to the splashpad. We played there for a bit, had some lunch, then went to the playground. Finally we ended up back at the Splashpad before Kayleigh just got too cold. .It is so nice to be able to go back and forth and that they are old enough to enjoy playing with each other!

The kids, especially Kayleigh, were a bit cold after playing in the water. It was a cool morning but they still had fun!

Kayleigh does her best ballerina leap through the fountain! Doesn't she look like she is just having the best time?

Kayleigh reaches to catch drops of water. Ahh, to be a kid again and have the simple things make you so happy.

Jack gets some air as he leaps over the fountain. He loved doing this. Maybe he has hopes as a hurdler. That boy does love to jump!

He really enjoyed this which made Kayleigh and I really happy. We were afraid he was going to want to be on the playground the whole time. However, he loved the water. I think he loved the room to run, jump and SPLASH!
