Honest Abe Lincoln's Yummy Log Cabin
The final fun snack for the month of February was Abe Lincoln's Log Cabin. The kids wanted to try it, especially the honey part to stick on the logs. At first they liked it but the honey ended up being to sweet for them and they just ate the extra logs (pretzel sticks).

Sledding in Coventry
With the recent snowfall we decided to head to Coventry to go sledding. We were hoping to go to my old elementary school but there was only one path of snow left. The hill behind the school is great and I have many fond memories of sledding there at recess as a kid. Since we had Papa and Grammy Motorcyle with us we headed to my father's club to try that hill. Papa said there was snow there that morning. However by the afternoon there was also only one path. But it was a great hill and the kids had a blast. It was a bit windy yet warm so perfect sledding weather. This is a hill we will definitely have to do with more snow. The kids are crazy. All they need is one run with Jim or I then they will go down on their own, especially Kayleigh.

Yummy Love Bugs!
This time we made a Heart Bug for lunch. The kiddos got to pick what they wanted on the sandwich...jelly, peanut butter and/or fluff. Then they added the details. It was a yummy and fun lunch and it sent their "Hearts Aflutter"!
Kayleigh's Day in the Snow
Yesterday was such a beautiful day that Kayleigh just had to get out and play. We were hoping to go sledding but Jack was tired and just wanted to chill out. So I built a tunnel for Kayleigh and she enjoyed playing in it and having some time with me!

Snow Fun
We finally got enough snow to go out and play and the temperature was great. The kids had a blast playing outside. We headed up to the school for some sledding then came home to play in the snow some more. The snow was perfect for making snowmen and snowballs. This is the day we have been waiting for.
Yummy Names!
Another yummy snack day in the Jensen Kitchen. We decided to make breadstick letters and to spell the kids names. Kayleigh decided just to do her nickname. Although it didn't stop her from doing Jim's name. Boy she does love her daddy. (Jim was home due to the snow and helping with the dough rolling). Jack loved rolling his name and making his hook.
