Fall Bonfire with old friends

We had a fall bonfire with some close family friends. The weather was perfect and it was a good time. It may become an annual tradition. More families will be added next year!

Great Weekend

Our little pumpkins pick their big pumpkins!

Love them

Funny scarepeople in the maze

Some more crazy scarepeople

Kayleigh

Kayleigh loved the pedal cars

Maybe if we built a corn pit, Jack would be able to get rid some of his energy

Great form, Kay

He loved it, even if he had trouble reaching the pedals

We had a terrific weekend as a family. After soccer on Saturday we headed to Fairweather Acres for some Fall Fun. Despite the clouds rolling in and darkening the sky we had fun. The best part was riding the go-kart pedal cars as a family. The kids loved getting pumpkins as big as they could and too heavy to carry. Kayleigh enjoyed looking at the scarecrows. The corn pit and maze were wonderful.

We wrapped up the weekend with a bike ride on the airline trail. The kids enjoyed stamping letters along the way.

The Wedding ~ getting ready at the church

Before the ceremony, Erin got ready at the church. Kayleigh of course was there every step of the way. The boys arrived around 1:30 to do their duties and to give ample time for Jack to get use to being at the church. Upon hearing all the other guys complain about the shoes, Jack decided that his were too tight also and he needed to wear his sneakers. Thankfully they were not white.

The ring bearer walks the back of the church!

He is just so cute!

Manchester Road Race 2010

We had a great time this year at the race. Each year we try to find the perfect spot that we can get to easily and out of quickly. We have finally found it...Rocco's on East Center Street...owned by my friend Erica. It's perfect for the kids. They can hang out before and keep warm then head out to watch the race. When they get too cold, we can head right inside and still see the race. The bonus is Jack can see one of the many girls he has a crush on...in this case, Erica. Boy does she give him the giggles.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....
Run, Run...Christmas Tree...

Heading out to the race!
Jack is such a guy...drinking his cup of hot chocolate and looking like he can't be bothered!

Can we just go and stop posing for pictures?!?

Smile....the runners are coming!

Jack, Kayleigh and Corrina (Erica's neice) enjoying some treats provided by Mrs. Pags after the race and warming up!
It was a great time and we can't wait until next year!
Happy Thanksgiving!

A Weekend Trip to Boston

Since Jack was such a trooper at the American Girl Store, we treated him and Kayleigh to the Children's Museum. Everyone really enjoyed it. Jack loved climbing the huge cargo net to the ceiling, Kayleigh loved playing school in Arthur's Classroom and we couldn't get Jim out of the Bubble Room. We will definitely have to go back.
Trapped in the bubble...we'll be okay if we hold on to each other

Climbing to the top...funny...Jack was hesitant to go up at first then we couldn't get him out, Kayleigh charge right up and then was almost there and wanted to head back down.

Jim loved making bubbles

Family Outing

We had a nice trip down to Groton to see the submarine. Jack was excited to go back and show Kayleigh and me all around. It was hilarious to see Jim try to get through the entry ways.

Too cute

Here I come!

Kayleigh's Preschool Graduation

I can't believe that Kayleigh is done with Preschool. The two years have gone by way too fast. She has grown so much and is ready for Kindergarten. I'm not sure if I am ready for her to go. But the time has come for her to keep moving forward. She made some terrific friends and has developed a love for school that I hope she keeps forever. Our little girl is growing up. The Graduate

Kayleigh and Owen...she finally realized it's okay to be friends with boys and this is her first real boy friend. Jim and I couldn't ask for a sweeter friend. This one she found all on her own. If this is what she chooses, then we have nothing to worry about. Owen just has to worry about Kayleigh finding him in college and getting him to propose to her.

The Graduate and her favorite J boys....Jack and Jim

Having a great time performing

Chore Day~ Mowing the Lawn

Kayleigh was all set to mow the lawn all by herself. Jim started it and she was ready to go on her own. We may be in luck and she can be mowing next year all by herself. Jack however was a bit jealous because Jim promised Jack he could help mow the lawn...but in typical older sister style, Kay swooped in and took the attention.

Fun at the Beach on Easter

After stuffing ourselves with dessert and Easter dinner, we headed to the beach to burn some calories and get some energy out before the car ride home. The kids loved being on the beach until Kayleigh stubbed her toe, then she was all done. Jack and I hung out on the beach collecting rocks while Jim took Kayleigh to get the car and a Band-aid. After a detour to McDonald's for a milkshake we headed home to rest. It was a great way to end the beautiful day.
Running on the beach!

He is just too cute! I love pictures of the kids on the beach. It's especially nice now that Jack will let us take his picture!

The Drama Queen has stubbed her toe and is getting a big hug from her daddy!

So pretty!

Fishing Derby 2010

Finally a nice day for fishing and we got no bites. At least the kids didn't complain about being cold. The people next to us got a lot of fish. We just had a couple of nibbles. However, Kayleigh and Jack had a nice time spending time with Papa and Jim fishing. We'll have to go back when no one is there.
Jack and Jim take a moment to look for fish.

Kayleigh gets some fishing advice from Papa!

Jack is a very serious fisherman.

Waiting for fish!

They are just too cute! Kayleigh makes a fashion statement wherever she goes!
